We are a group of enthusiastic students and researchers from UCT Prague who have decided to support, encourage, and empower each other on the challenging journey of higher education and a scientific career.
Our Mission
We all know that scientific research can be a stressful journey, where you are expected to master various skills such as public speaking, writing scientific papers and grant proposals, teaching, having a clear mind full of imagination, meeting deadlines, and still being a kind person with understanding for yourself and others. It is very difficult to be everything, but with others, it is easier and even fun!
We create a friendly environment for sharing ideas, knowledge, general survival tips, and much more by organizing a wide range of activities, which you can browse in the list of working groups. Deep Mind Lectures
We bring in interesting speakers from various fields to lecture us on their topics.
PhD_Post.doc Club
You can look forward to lectures from your colleagues (mostly PhD students and postdocs) and the opportunity to meet people from your field.
Craft Club
We invest time and interest in hardware projects, various forms of modern engineering, and art.
Writing Corner
A space for researchers, students, and academics for undisturbed work on writing technical texts. Meetings take place in a quiet environment where concentration, a creative atmosphere, and quality coffee are the priorities.
