About student associations
University student associations are an integral part of campus life. Forget the exclusive clubs you might know from American movies – our unions bring together people with a passion for culture, sports, art, and more. Whether you want to connect with international students, play hockey, take photos, or help organize cultural events on campus, joining a union is the best way to get involved.
Why join?
Membership in a student association allows you to build valuable friendships outside of your immediate circle, year, or faculty. It is also one of the most effective ways to develop soft skills such as teamwork, time management, or leadership. Through your activities, you can continuously discover which role suits you best within a team and move forward in your self-discovery process—something that will be incredibly important when choosing your future career!
How to join a association?
Simply find the contact information for the head of the specific association and reach out via any communication channel. There is nothing to be afraid of; new members are always welcome. Contact details for individual association can be found under the Associations overview page.
How to start a association?
Starting a association is simple. The main condition is that at least half of the members must be from UCT Prague. Then, just fill out the form under the Registration page, send it to k3s@vscht.cz, and bring a hard copy to the CCC.
