ESN - Erasmus student network
… or when the world comes to you! Who wouldn't like getting to know new places and new people. And what if we told you that you don't have to pay for a plane ticket for that, and you can get to know a good piece of the world right at UCT?
Who are we?
We are a student society under the auspices of the largest European student organization, the Erasmus Student Network, and we make sure that international students have the best possible time here! We help incoming students with the academic and organizational aspects of their stay, while also striving to ensure they leave with as many experiences as possible and get to know our culture. Membership in ESN gives you the opportunity to connect with people from many different countries and cultures, whether they are "Erasmus students" or members from other sections.
What do we do?
We organize the university buddy program and an orientation week for incoming students, during which they get to know each other, the school, Prague, and other beautiful corners of our country.
Several times a semester, culture evenings take place at the El Mágico club. Here, international students prepare their typical national dishes and introduce others to their country through presentations. We are happy to welcome everyone to these cultural evenings, so follow our Instagram and come take a look!
In addition, we organize various workshops, parties, and trips to nature or for culture during the semester. We also collaborate with other ESN sections within Prague and the entire Czech Republic on many events.
As members, we meet every two weeks for members' meetings, and once a semester, we go on a joint teambuilding trip. Many events for members also take place at the national level. You can also meet us at university and campus events; visit us at Kampusfest, Lesamáj, or during Erasmus days.
