Who are we?
We are students and employees of UCT Prague united by a love for choral singing. The university choir ChemChór has been active since 2016 and since then has traditionally participated in campus festivals, presented at university events, performed in combination with the UCT Orchestra, and organized its own concerts.
How do we function?
We rehearse every Tuesday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. First, we warm up our voices and then we work on our current repertoire. Previous musical experience and the ability to read music are an advantage, but not a requirement. We learn to work with our voices and become aware of their possibilities. We sing a wide spectrum of styles and perform publicly several times a semester. We strive to create connections and friendly contacts between students and employees across different fields and years of study.
