Who are we?
Biosenzory is a club bringing together students interested in technology and its applications in healthcare. We participate in the international student competition SensUs, where enthusiastic teams of university students—not only from Europe—develop a functional biosensor based on a given theme. The competition spans the entire academic year, and the competing teams then showcase their creations at the August SensUs Innovation Days. This event is attended by the contestants themselves, students, and university representatives, as well as industry professionals who come to see the results of a year's worth of work.
What do we do?
The main part of our work is developing a prototype capable of the most accurate determination of a selected bioanalyte's concentration. Furthermore, we handle project promotion and communication with sponsoring companies, academics, and other experts in the field. In addition to laboratory work, we experience working on a real-world project from start to finish.
Who can join?
As you can see, our work doesn't just revolve around chemistry and technology; a student from any field of study can be part of the club. The only restriction is that the competition is open only to Bachelor's and Master's students. Recruitment of new members takes place at the beginning of the academic year, before the competition officially starts. You can follow our social media for the latest updates.
