Are you curious about what the inside of a computer looks like? Come try it out at our beginner-friendly hardware workshop! We'll dissect 🪛 old computers and extract their vital organs 🧠🫁🫀 for transplantation—RAM modules, hard drives, and expansion cards. After collecting the parts, we’ll assess them and assemble new, stronger machines from the most vital dissected individuals. These will be tested and donated to the Computers for Kids initiative.
If you have an old computer or laptop lying around that can be taken apart, feel free to bring it with you—but you're welcome to join even without your own scrap. The workshop is open to students and staff of all years and positions.
