Who are we?
We are students and employees of UCT Prague who are united by our love for choral singing. The school choir ChemChór has been actively working at the school since 2016 and since then has traditionally participated in campus festivals, presented at school events, performed in combination with the UCT Orchestra and organized its own concerts.
How do we work?
We rehearse every Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. First we sing and then we work on the current repertoire. Previous musical experience and knowledge of music is an advantage but not a requirement. We learn to work with our voice and become aware of its possibilities. We sing a wide range of styles and sing publicly several times a term. We strive to create connections and friendships between students and staff across disciplines and years.
