Rental regulations

I. Borrowing games

1. Borrowing of board or card games (hereinafter referred to as "games") according to the Borrowing Rules of the Institute of Board and Card Games (hereinafter referred to as "Borrowing Rules") is provided by the student association "Institute of Board and Card Games" (hereinafter referred to as "ICBG") at the University of Technology Prague.
2. Borrowing of games is provided free of charge for the benefit of students and employees of UCT Prague.
3. The request for the loan of games is made in person to one of the members of the management of the DBCG, during the opening hours of the loan office set on the website of the association.
4. The borrowing of games must be recorded and confirmed by the signature in the "Borrowing Book", which is an annex to these Borrowing Regulations, by the person borrowing the games (hereinafter referred to as the "client"). The client is responsible for the borrowed games.
5. Games are usually borrowed for a period of 7 days. However, it is possible to extend the loan by agreement.
6. When a game is borrowed, a photograph of the client with the borrowed games will be taken as proof of the loan.
7. The client who has had a photograph taken of him/her with the borrowed games confirms by his/her signature in the Loan Book his/her acceptance of the terms and conditions of the loan as set out in these Loan Rules.

II. Return of borrowed games

1. The return of the games is always during the opening hours of the lending library or by verbal agreement with a member of the management of the DBCG, by agreement via email of the members of the management of the DBCG or via Facebook of the DBCG at other times. This agreement must be made at least one business day before the games are scheduled to be returned.
2. The games must be returned no later than 7 days after they are borrowed or at an agreed upon time.
3. An extension of the loan period may be requested by the management of the DBCG in justified cases, at least one working day before the regular end date of the loan. The loan may be extended for a maximum of 14 days.
4. The return of the games must again be confirmed by the client's signature in the Loan Book. At the same time, any loss of game components or damage to the games is recorded in the book.
5. The DBCG reserves the right to request the early return of borrowed games if necessary, particularly for the purpose of organising events at which the DBCG wishes to present the games. Such a request must be granted by the client.

III. Loss and damage to borrowed games

1. Loss or damage to games or game components must always be reported immediately to the management of the DBCG.
2. Damage to the game or loss of game components shall be compensated to the signatory as agreed with the management of DBCG.
3. A lost game is financially compensated to the signatories in the Loan Book according to the current price list of the game publisher, including postage, in favour of the DBCG.

IV. Violation of the Borrowing Regulations of the DBCG

1. In the event of a minor violation of these Loan Rules, a warning will be issued to the signer in the Loan Book. A second warning for one person will result in a ban - a ban on borrowing games for their benefit.
2. A gross violation of this Loan Policy will result in an immediate ban.
3. The definition of moderate and gross violations of the Borrowing Rules is entirely within the discretion of the management of the UDKH.

V. Final Provisions

1. These Loan Regulations are drawn up in three copies. One copy is allocated in the Loan Book and two copies are allocated in the archives of the DBCG.
2. The electronic version of the Loan Regulations is allocated on the DBCG website in .pdf format.
3. These Loan Regulations may be amended only by written amendments to the Loan Regulations signed by the Head of the DBCG.
4. These Loan Regulations shall come into force on the date of the signature of the Loan Regulations by the Head of the UDKH.
